Highway Horticulture has built a state-of-the-art cultivation facility in Cassopolis lead by one of the best cultivators in the country! The Cannabis Trim Technician will help to take our dried and cured flower to a beautifully manicured bud that will end up on the top shelf of dispensaries throughout the state. This is a fast-paced position and requires a keen eye for detail, high quality and safety standards, and the ability to perform repetitive and finely tuned scissor trimming.

Job duties will include, but are not limited to:

Trim and manicure flower to quality standards set by the cultivation management
Maximize production and minimize waste of quality flower
Adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
Maintain a clean work environment, including tools, station, and room
Identify subpar quality indicators, mold, pests, etc. and communicate questions or concerns to cultivation management
Work closely with fellow team members, while being able to perform independently
Operate in adherence to all company policies and state requirements for cannabis operations
Ad-hoc cultivation duties as requested by cultivation management

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the US
Michigan requires a criminal background check on everyone working in the cannabis industry
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, kneel, bend, and sit for long periods
Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, performing repetitive and finely-tuned scissor trimming
