Job Description: The Retail Sales Associate is a key role for Highway Horticulture’s mission to be friendly, approachable experts in our field. This position will involve guest interaction, product knowledge, inventory management and act as a liaison for our brand.
Job Responsibilities:
● Familiarity with products, ability to speak to guests about the benefits of each
● Greet guests in a friendly, hospitable way
● Comply with all state regulatory requirements for the sale of cannabis
● Operate our Point-Of-Sale system for order fulfillment
● Count inventory and make sure each product is labeled and accounted for
● Stay informed on new product, legal requirements and trends in the industry
● Educate guests who are new to cannabis in an engaging, non-judgmental way
● Build rapport with guests, explaining the benefits of our membership/subscription service
● Work in a highly collaborative, dynamic, busy retail environment
● Manage online orders, curbside pickup fulfillment
● Keep detailed transactions in the POS and state monitored inventory system (METRC, BioTrack, etc.)
Job Requirements:
● Must be legally eligible to work in the US
● Must be at least 21 years of age
● Must be able to pass a criminal background check as required by the state
